A database is a collection of data that is accessed, managed and updated electronically. This is usually organized in rows, columns, and tables for easy reading.
Before even setting up your website, it will need a database to store its information. Information that your site might need to hold like the website users, page data, etc. To do this, simply follow these quick and easy steps in cPanel!
Go to your cPanel
Under Databases, find MySQL® Databases
Create your database with an appropriate name. Remember this name as you will need it later. It will automatically have your account name with an underscore in the prefix so it will the full database name would be: youraccount_websitedatabase
You will get a success message. Just press “Go Back” and you are done!
